A vibrant, floral ladybird themed card made using the Ladybug stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Purple Ladybug card

Today I am sharing a pretty card made using the cute Hello Ladybug stamp set and co-ordinating Ladybug Builder Punch. In the UK these insects are called Ladybirds.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Ladybird card, you will need:

Gorgeous Grape card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic Black card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White & Basic Black

Using a Blending Brush, I swirled Pacific Point ink onto the smaller Basic White panel.

The trio of flowers were stamped, three times in Gorgeous Grape ink. I used the trio of tiny dots, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink around the flowers. The panel was then glued to the Basic Black panel.

The sentiment from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set was tucked in below the flowers and stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink.

I punched out the body of the ladybird form scrap Basic Black card. The wings were stamped in Real Red onto scrap Basic White card and punched out, again using the Ladybug Builder Punch.

The wings were shaped using my Bone Folder before being added to the black body with Mini Glue Dots along the top edge.

The ladybird was then added to the stamped panel on Dimensionals. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Gorgeous Grape card front using Dimensionals.

A scattering of Red Rhinestones finished the card.

This is such a bright and vibrant card. I hope you like it
