Using Just Jade ink, I stamped the leafy image around the edge of the larger Very Vanilla layer. The stamped layer was added to the Just Jade panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of the gorgeous Lace Trim around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then added with the liquid glue to the Thick Very Vanilla card base.

Using a Poppy Parade Stamp ‘n Write marker I coloured in the pot. I used the Soft Suede Stamp ‘n Write marker to colour in the plant stem and the Just Jade marker for the leaves. To re-activate the drying ink, I huffed on the inked stamped before stamping down on the smaller panel of Very Vanilla. I used the Tasteful Label dies to cut out the image.

I die cut the same label from the larger Poppy Parade panel and 2 stitched banners from the smaller panel of Poppy Parade. The large label was cut in half from top to bottom and adhered the pieces to the back of the stamped panel, with a little showing either side. The banners were added to the top and bottom. The whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A lace trim bow was added to complete the card.

a stunning focus for a sweet thank you card

Queen Anne’s Lace

Today I am sharing a pretty thank you card made using the gorgeous Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set by Stampin’ Up!

To recreate the Queen Anne’s Lace card you will need:

Gorgeous Grape card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” and scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Pool Party – 4¾” by 2½”- rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 4⅝” by 2⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner

I took the image which is designed to fill in the flower colour and randomly stamped it in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the front of the Gorgeous Grape card base.

The same image was used to stamp the flower heads onto the smaller Whisper White panel. I used 2nd generation Gorgeous Grape ink to do this – I inked up the stamped, stamped onto scrap paper then stamped onto the Whisper White card.

The stalks and flower heads were stamped in Gray Granite ink. I found it easier to line up if I stamped the flower heads before the stalks.

The stamped panel was glued to the Pool Party layer with Multipurpose Liquid adhesive . I wrapped a piece of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the panel and added a bow of the same ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot. The panel was then added to the card front with Dimensionals.

Petal Promenade dsp for a sweet get well card

Petal Promenade get well card

Today I have made a sweet get well card using the adorable Petal Promenade designer series paper. This paper is stunning and needs very little embellishment to make a stunning card.

Petal Promenade card

I began by cutting a piece of the Petal Promenade dsp measuring 5⅛” by 2⅞” and layered it onto a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock. I added a little tear and tape adhesive to the back left side of the panel and added some of the lovely soft Lace Trim.

I took a Gray Granite card base and added a ½” strip of Very Vanilla cardstock to the front and added the panel over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hand Delivered stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out using the Everyday Label Punch. I inserted the punched sentiment into the punch again and punched again to make it smaller. I did the same with a scrap of Mossy Meadow cardstock and layered it on the back of the punched sentiment. This was added to the card front.

I don’t think the card needs anything else, I hope you agree.
