Today I am sharing a pretty abstract roses card made using the Artistically Inked stamps set and Artistic Dies.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the abstract roses card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Hand-Penned dsp – 5⅞” by 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2⅝”
Highland Heather card – 5⅞” by ½” x 2
Scrap Basic White
Scrap 2021 – 2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the panel of Hand-Penned dsp to the Thick Basic White card front.
Using Gorgeous Grape ink I stamped the abstract rose from the Artistically Inked stamp set onto scrap Basic White card. I stamped the same image again in Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia ink on the scrap Basic White card. They were die cut using the Artistic Dies and my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.
The leaves were stamped in Mint Macaron on scrap Basic White card and die cut using the same dies.
The die cut flowers and leaves were then added to the 5⅞” by 2⅝” panel of Basic White card with either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or Dimensionals. I added a scattering of dots in Mint Macaron ink.
The decorated panel was added with liquid glue to the 2 strips of Highland Heather card. The whole piece was then mounted on the card front with the same liquid glue,
I punched a small dragonfly, using the Dragonfly Punch, from the Shimmer Vellum, added a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel to the body and added it to the card front on a Mini Glue Dot. To complete the card I added a trio of the Pastel Pearls.
Such a pretty card, I love this colour combination.
