Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the theme ‘thoughts & prayers’. I have used the Seaside Bay stamp set and dies with the gorgeous Fresh As A Daisy dsp to make my card.
Colours in this project are:
To recreate the seaside bay card, you will need:
Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Fresh As A Daisy dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Old Olive card
I cut out the piece of Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper from the large 12” by 12” sheet and trimmed it down to 5⅛” by 3⅜” by taking a bit off the top.
Using the Seaside Bay Dies, I die cut some grasses from scrap Old Olive card and added them to the dsp panel. The overhanging pieces were trimmed off with Scissors. The dsp layer was then glued to the Pecan Pie layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was then glued to the Azure Afternoon card base.
The large bird from the was stamped on scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut it out using the Seaside Bay dies.
Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the bird – Boho Blue, Wild Wheat & Pecan Pie. I also used Sponge Daubers to add Wild Wheat ink to the bottom of the bird and Boho Blue to the back of the bird. This helped it blend into the background mage. The bird was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the In The Moment stamp set was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed the sentiment down and added it to the card front using the liquid glue.
Please hop along to see what other gorgeous projects my fellow demos have to share today.
