Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have made a pretty hydrangea themed card to share with you today.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the pretty hydrangea card, you will need:
Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Old Olive card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – Rounded upper left corner
Fresh Freesia card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Very Vanilla card – 4¾” by 3¼” – Rounded upper left corner
I ran the Fresh Freesia panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and added it to the Old Olive panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I ran a piece of Tear ‘n Tape from side to side onto the embossed panel and added a strip of Frayed Ribbon. The whole panel was added to the Thick Very Vanilla card base using the same liquid adhesive.
Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I die cut a scalloped rectangle from the panel of Very Vanilla card. The sentiment was stamped in the lower right corner with Old Olive ink.
The outline hydrangea image, from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set was stamped onto the scalloped Rectangle with Early Espresso ink.
Using the infill stamp I added Fresh Freesia ink to the flowerhead and Old Olive ink to the stem and leaves. The decorated scalloped rectangle was the added to the card front on Dimensionals.
A scattering of 2022 – 2024 In Color Opal Rounds and a Very Vanilla Twine bow completed the card.
Pretty card, I hope you like it.
Please continue to hop around the blog hop to share the inspiration created by my stamping friends.
