Today I am sharing a sweet card made using the Above the Clouds stamp set and the co-ordinating Hot Air Punch.
To recreate the Above the Clouds card you will need:
Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded lower right corner
Night of Navy – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded lower right corner
2019 – 2021 In Color dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded lower right corner
Scrap Whisper White and Night of Navy
I die cut a circle from the layer of Whisper White cardstock using the Layering Circle Dies making sure to allow the circle to overhang the edge. I added this layer to the layer of dsp with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole piece was then glued to the Night of Navy panel.
The sentiment was stamped in Highland Hether ink below the die cut circle. I love that you can bend the photopolymer stamps to fit a curve.
I stamped the hot air balloon in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock. Iadded the inner colour using the solid balloon stamp and Highland Heather ink. The image was punched out using the Hot Air Balloon punch.
The balloon was added on Dimensionals inside the die cut circle. A balloon basket was punched out using the same punch and scrap Night of Navy cardstock.
The whole piece was then added with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to theThick Whisper White card base.
The card was finished by a trio of 2019 – 2021 IN Color Faceted Dots.
Sweet card, I hope you agree.
