Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on recently. I can’t get enough of the Hills of Tuscany stamp set and have used it to make a lavender farm themed card.
Colours used in the lavender farm in Tuscany card are:
To recreate the lavender farm in Tuscany card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Mossy Meadow card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White card – 5½” by 3½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
I began by stamping the farmhouse in Moody Mauve ink onto the 5” by 3 ¼” panel of Basic White card and added the roof with Copper Clay ink. Using a Basic Black Stamp ‘n Write marker I inked around the left side of each window.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
With the house in place I stamped the ground in 2nd generation Old Olive ink and added detail in full strength Old Olive.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
Next, I stamped the sky in 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink and added the sun in Lemon Lolly. The trees were stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
Using the direct to cardstock technique, I swiped the edge of the Crumb Cake ink pad across the bottom of panel, I did this repeatedly to give the impression of soil.

Using the dotty image I stamped in the rows of lavender stems in Old Olive ink making them narrower at the top by the farmhouse and wider near the bottom to give some perspective. The same stamp was used with Gorgeous Grape ink to give the impression of flowers.

The inked panel was glued to the Mossy Meadow panel and then added it to the Crumb Cake card case on Dimensionals.
Please hop along to share the projects my fellow stampers have to share today.

I have used the gorgeous Hills of Tuscany stamp set to make a pretty card featuring a Cherry Cobbler Tuscan villa. I can’t seem to get enough of this fantastic stamp set.
To recreate the cherry cobbler Tuscan villa card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Crumb Cake card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Cherry Cobbler card – 4” by 2½” Basic White card – 4 ½” by 3” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
I embossed the 5⅝” by 3⅞” panel of Crumb Cake card using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. A length of Basic White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the embossed panel before it was glued to the Crumb Cake card base.

Using the Everyday Details Dies, I die cut rectangle from the 4 ½” by 3” panel of Basic White card. I used Post It Notes to mask of the sides of the die cut rectangle.

The house was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the roof added in Pebbled Path ink. I used a Basic Black Stamp ‘n Write marker to colour in the windows.
The sky was stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink and the sunny added with Lemon Lolly ink.

Ground was stamped in 2nd generation Lost Lagoon ink then in 2nd generation Crumb Cake ink. The detail was stamped in full strength Lost Lagoon or full strength Crumb Cake ink, I added some ‘gravel’ in Crumb Cake ink.

The trees were stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. The rectangle was then glued to the Cherry Cobbler panel and then mounted onto the Crumb Cake card front on Dimensionals.

Today, I am sharing the projects designed for my Hills of Tuscany Stamp-a-stack. I love, love this stamp set and couldn’t wait to share it with my crafty ladies. There is a little bit of a learning curve with this set and to help the ladies out I created a cheat sheet to help them work out what each image does. I also suggested that they use their grid paper to test drive all the images in 1st and 2nd generation ink and to starting putting images together.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Hills of Tuscany Crib Sheet made for the Hills of Tuscany Stamp-a-Stack event March 2024

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I am loving the Hills of Tuscany stamp set and have used it to make a pretty water coloured card.
To recreate the Italian lavender hills card, you will need:
Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¾” Basic Black card – 3⅝” by 2⅝” Fluid 100 card – 3½” by 2½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Using a Spritzer, filled with water, I sprayed the piece of Fluid 100 card with enough water to make it wet.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
The large curved image was inked in Highland Heather ink, then lightly spritzed with water before I stamped the image at the bottom of the Fluid 100 card. The colour didn’t look right and I realised the stamp had picked up a little Old Olive ink from the scrap paper the Fluid 100 was resting on – quite liked it so carried on. I stamped again in Highland Heather ink to add more ‘ground’.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
The large ‘sky’ image was inked up with Azure Afternoon ink, spritzed with water and stamped at the top of the panel, I added the small ‘cloud’ like image using the Azure Afternoon ink in 1st & 2nd generation to add some depth. The panel was set the panel to one side to dry.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
When the panel was dry, I added the more defined ‘ground’ images with 1st & 2nd generation Gorgeous Grape ink. This time I didn’t spritze with water. The dotty image was stamped to give the impression of flowers.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
The house was stamped in Starry Sky ink and the roof added in Night of Navy ink. I used the Black Stampin’ Write Marker to add some definition to the windows. I managed to stamp the roof slightly squint but quite liked the effect so left it.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Hills of Tuscany stamp set used to make a pretty lavender farm themed card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop
The group of trees were stamped in Garden Green ink. I used a Waterpainter to smear the ink on the trees – this gives a greater depth of colour. When completely dry, the finished piece was glued to the Basic Black panel, then to the 3¾” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card.

The whole piece was added to the Highland Heather card front on Dimensionals.
I love this card, hope you like it.

The large curved image was inked in Old Olive ink, then lightly spritzed with water before stamping the image at the bottom of the Fluid 100 card. I repeated this step to add more ‘ground’. I also inked up the smaller curved image with the same colour and spritzed it before adding it to the panel to add more texture.
