FONTS-amental for the Stamping INKSpirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping INKSpirations Blog Hop where we our theme is FONTS-amental. I love a good font and I especially love combining fonts which is so trendy right now.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the feels like home card, you will need:

Party Patterns dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Party Patterns dsp – 4½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 4½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Bermuda Bay card

The larger panel of Party Patterns Designer Series Paper (dsp) was glued to the Misty Moonlight card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I selected the sentiments I thought would work together and ended up choosing from the following stamp sets – One Happy Family, Hey Birthday Chick, Garden Wishes, Elegantly Said & Season’s Blessings. I wanted a mixture of plain and quirky fonts.

I stamped the sentiments onto the die cut tag, cut using the Tailor Made tags Dies and my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine using Bermuda Bay, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Soft Succulent inks.

Using the same die, I cut another tag from the smaller piece of Party Patterns dsp and glued the two tags together, offset, using the same liquid glue.

A small hole re-enforcer was die cut using the same set of dies and added to the tag with the liquid glue. The Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon was the pushed through the hole and secured. The tag was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I added a trio of Holiday Rhinestones to complete the card.

I am really happy with how the card came out, great for a teenager.  I hope you like it.

Please hop on to see what the lovely Shel has to share with us today.
