Merriest Trees Treat Boxes

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing gift packaging ideas. I saw a Youtube video a while ago, posted by fellow demonstrator Angie Juda using the Merriest Trees Bundle to make a sweet box and I have adapted it to make treat boxes for the customers coming to my October classes.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the merriest trees box, you will need:

Pretty Peacock card – 5¾” by 4¼”
Pretty Peacock card – 8⅛” by 2
Scrap Basic White card

Using the Merriest Trees Dies I die cut 2 large trees from the 5¾” by 4¼” panel of Pretty Peacock card.

Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool I scored the 8⅛” by 2” strips of Pretty Peacock card – on the short side at ½” and 1½” and on the long side at ½”, 1¼”, 4” & 5¼”. I wedged out the tabs and created the top as shown in the picture below.

A Blending Brush was used to add Daffodil Delight ink to the centre of both white flower layers and to the flower centre. A Dimensional behind the flower centre held the two delicate flower layers together and a little liquid glue added them to the Copper Clay layer. The whole piece was added to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Copper Clay card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. The sentiment was then die cut using the same Cheerful Daisies Dies. And added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The leaves were tucked in behind the flower and a trio of 2023 – 2025 In Color Dots complete the card. I hope you like it.

A very pretty floral thank you card made using the Pansy Patch stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Lemon Pansy Card

Here is a pretty card made using a sweet, Pansy Patch stamp set and the co-ordinating Pansy Dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the pansy card, you will need;

Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Copper Clay card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Copper Clay card – 2” by ¼”
Scrap Basic White card

The solid base image of each pansy was stamped in Lemon Lolly ink and I added the more detailed layer in Daffodil Delight ink. They were stamped on scrap Basic White card. I die cut the flowers using the pansy dies.

The leaves were stamped onto scrap Basic White card, the base in 2nd generation Old Olive ink and the detail in full strength Old Olive ink, they were die cut using the same dies.

Using a Blending Brush, I added a little Cajun Craze ink to the smaller panel of Basic White card. I love the almost blush effect this ink gives to a background.

The flowers were added to the card base on either liquid glue or Dimensionals and the leaves were tucked underneath. The whole panel was added to the Copper Clay layer which was then mounted onto the Lemon Lolly card base.

I added a length of Gold Elegant Trim around the flowers, held in position with a couple of Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink, covered with White Embossing Powder and Heat set. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front and a trio of Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins completed the card.

I love these colours together, don’t you?
