Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are CASing the Annual Catalogue. I have chosen the sweet floral card on page 61 of the new annual catalogue which was made using the Hearts & Hugs Dies. I have changed the colour palette and adapted the card to accommodate our A4 card stock.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the floral hearts card, you will need:
Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Petal Pink card – 5¼” by 1⅛” x 3
Calypso Coral card – 4⅛” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Petal Pink, Calypso Coral & Granny Apple Green
Using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder, I embossed the three strips of Petal Pink card. These were then adhered to the Petal Pink card front.
I ran the 4” by 3” piece of Basic White card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the arch of small hearts die from the Hearts & Hugs Dies. The die cut piece was then glued to the Calypso Coral panel. The panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
From scrap Granny Apple Green card, I die cut the grass and flower stems and glued it to the card front.
The flowers were die cut using the same set of dies and scrap Petal Pink card. From the scrap Calypso Coral card, I die cut some larger hearts. These pieces were then added to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Granny Apple Green card. I trimmed it down with Scissors and added it to the card front.
A trio of Iridescent Pearls finished the card.
