Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share monthly Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Something New’. I have chosen to use the gorgeous new Plentiful Plants stamp set and Perfect Plants Dies from the new 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalogue.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the hanging pots card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Calypso Coral
Pansy Petals dsp
Scrap Basic White, Calypso Coral, Soft Sea Foam, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Evening Evergreen
The large pot image was stamped on scrap Calypso Coral and Misty Moonlight card using the co-ordinating ink colours and die cut using the Perfect Plants dies.
I stamped some of the plants in Old Olive and Evening Evergreen onto Scrap Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive card. I die cut the plants using the same dies and also cut out some of the Aloe plants in the 3 shades of green.
I die cut the sweet macrame hanger from scrap Basic White card and then began the fun job of filling the plant pots.
I added the hanging pot to the dsp panel on Dimensionals, threaded a length of White Bakers Twine through the ring at the top and secured it to the back of the panel with Sellotape.
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to adhere the dsp to the Calypso Coral panel and then to the Crumb Cake card front.
The blue pot was added on Dimensionals at the bottom of the card. I added a double Bakers Twine bow to the hanger and the blue pot and finished with a trio of Elegant faceted dots.
I hope you like the card.
Please hop on to see what my lovely team mate Joanna has to share with us today.
