Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a sketch challenge and I have used the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set to make a sketched leaves thank you card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the sketched leaves card, you will need:
Soft Sea Foam Card Base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Beauty of the Earth dsp – 5⅞” by 4⅛”
Beauty of the Earth dsp – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card ¼” strip
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
I added the strip of Beauty of the Earth dsp with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the Soft Sea Foam card base.
Taking the square of Basic White card, I inked up the first maple leaf in Old Olive ink and added Mossy Meadow ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber. The second maple leaf was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.
I inked up the smaller stamp with Bumblebee ink and added Mossy Meadow ink around the edges with a dauber. I inked up and stamped this image twice. The long thin leaf was added in Merry Merlot ink. The smaller speckled image was stamped in Soft Sea Foam.
The stamped panel was added, slightly offset, to the square of Beauty of the Earth dsp using the liquid glue. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Penguin Place stamp set was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on the strip of Basic White. It was trimmed down and flagged before it was tucked under the stamped panel.
I added a scattering of Wonderful Gems to complete the card.
Please continue to hop on to see what inspiration my fellow hoppers have to share with us today.
