Welcome to the November 2020 Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop. Our theme this month is ‘Christmas Tree Bauble’ and I have used the gorgeous So Many Snowflakes Dies to make my simple snowflake tree ornament. If you have started here of hopped over from my crafty friend Susan Simpson, you are very welcome.
To recreate the Snowflake Tree Ornament, you will need:
Magenta Madness card
Gold Foil card
Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine I die cut 2 of the medium snowflakes from Gold Foil card and 4 smaller snowflakes from the Magenta Madness card.
I used a rolled up Mini Glue Dot to adhere one of the Gold Foil snowflakes to the Gold Hoop. The second Gold Foil snowflake was added to the back using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to stick the snowflakes together.
The Magenta Madness snowflakes were laid on my grid paper and sprayed with Champagne Shimmer Mist. This was made by pouring 70% alcohol into a Stampin’ Spritzer and adding a pea sized blob of Champagne Shimmer Paint before shaking well and spraying the snowflakes. This gives a lovely shimmer and the alcohol means it dries quickly.
I used rolled up Mini Glue Dots to adhere a pink snowflake either side of the larger gold snowflake. The remaining pink snowflakes were added to the back with the liquid glue.
Gold twine was then added to the gold hoop to hang the ornament and Gold Glitter Dios were added to each snowflake, front and back. Pretty but very simple. I just love these bright pink snowflakes. I hope you like them.
Please hop on to see what the lovely Jill Chapman has to share with us today.
