Butterfly Silhouettes for the Thank You Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Thank You Blog Hop where we are sharing…………you’ve guessed it, thank you cards! I have used the card from my blog yesterday as inspiration for today’s butterfly silhouette card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the butterfly silhouettes card, you will need:

Melon Mambo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Daffodil Delight card – 8⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3¾” – rounded lower left corner – for the inside
Basic Black card – 2” by 2”
Basic White card – 2“by 2”

I stamped the pretty butterfly from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set, randomly all over the smaller panel of Basic White card in Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo ink. I love these colours together.

The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set, was stamped in Melon Mambo ink onto the square of Basic White card. I die cut this out using the Layering Circle Dies. I die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle from the Basic Black square. The two circles were glued together and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
