Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop. I have been playing with the Cheerful Basket stamp set today and have created a sweet crafty basket card using the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes.
To recreate the crafty basket card, you will need:
Tea Boutique card base Basic White card – 4⅛” by 3¼” Scrap Crumb Cake, Sweet Sorbet, Soft Sea Foam, Orchid Oasis & Basic White
The basket for the Cheerful Basket stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto scrap Crumb Cake ink. I used Soft Suede and SU100 Blends Pens to add some sharing and dimension to the basket.

Using the spiral edge die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies, I die cut
the notepad edge from the Basic White card panel. I used a Blending Brush to add some Soft Sea Foam to the die cut piece. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped at the bottom of the panel in Orchid Oasis ink. The panel was then added to the card front with the same liquid glue.

Today I am sharing a card made using the Hanging Garden stamp set for the Inspire Create #041 Challenge. The challenge this week is a sketch challenge, love these, they are great for pushing you out of your comfort zone.
To recreate the Hang in There card you will need;
Granny Apple Green card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Whisper White cardstock 5½” by 3 ¾” Tropical Escape dsp 3⅝” by 2½” Tropical Escape dsp 3⅝” by 2⅞” Shaded Spruce 5⅞” by 2⅛” Whisper White 5⅞” by 2” Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – for the inside Scrap Whisper White for the sentiment
I began by using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the 2 pieces of designer series paper (dsp) to the larger Whisper White panel with one piece slightly overlapping the other. I wrapped a piece of Granny Apple Green Ribbon around the panel covering the join and attached the ribbon on the back with Sellotape. This whole piece was then attached to the Granny Apple green card base using the same adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The Hanging Garden stamp set used for the Inspire CReate #041 Challenge
I stamped the hanging baskets from the Hanging Garden stamp set each one below the next in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the following Blends markers to colour in the images – Flirty Flamingo combo, Granny Apple Green combo, Petal Pink combo, Crumb Cake combo and Highland Heather light. I deliberately chose these colours to mimic the colour palette of the dsp.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The Hanging Garden stamp set used for the Inspire CReate #041 Challenge
The stamped and coloured layer was then added to the card front on Dimensionals. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and trimmed down with my scissors. It was added to the panel with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Another sketch challenge to play along with today, this time it is the turn of the Inspire. Create #035 challenge. I loved this sketch and knew right away that I wanted to use the stunning Bloom by Bloom stamp set.
Making the card
I began by die cutting the largest Stitched Circle using my Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I randomly stamped a variety of images from the Bloom by Bloom stamp set in Flirty Flaming, So Saffron, Mint Macaron and Blueberry Bushel inks. I began with the largest flower, then the leaves and finishing with the smallest flower.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Bloom by Bloom stamp set used to make a card for the Inspire. Create #035 Challenge
I die cut a scalloped circle from Blueberry Bushel cardstock and added it to the stamped circle with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I added it to a Thick Whisper White card front on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Bloom by Bloom stamp set used to make a card for the Inspire. Create #035 Challenge
I added a strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock ⅜” wide and trimmed it down. I added it to the stamped circle with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from the Apron of Love stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink then stamped it again…….just because I could and added it onto the Flirty Flamingo strip.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Bloom by Bloom stamp set used to make a card for the Inspire. Create #035 Challenge
I really felt the card needed a little something extra so stamped the smallest flower in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the card front itself and added some of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls in Mint Macaron to complete the card.
I am really happy with this card. I hope you like it.

Today I have used the sweet hostess stamp set called Making Every Day Bright to make a get well card for one of my team members who slipped and fell whilst on holiday and fractured her elbow………..ouch. She has just had surgery and will hopefully now be on the mend. This charming stamp set co-ordinates with the Christmas Bulb Builder punch and the Making Christmas Bright stamp sets from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.
Making the Every Day Bright card
I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 5” by 3 ¼” and randomly stamped the sweet little feather image in Rich Razzelberry, Mint Macaron and Mint Macaron. Like many others I find random stamping really challenging.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Making Every Day Bright stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I added the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock measuring 5¼” by 3½”. I wrapped a length of Rich Razzelberry ⅛” Velvet Ribbon around the card panel securing it on the back with Sellotape.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Making Every Day Bright stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I die cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes framelit dies, tucked the circle under the ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the Apron of Love stamp set in Mint Macaron ink.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Making Every Day Bright stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I stamped the feather once in each colour onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and punched them out using the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. I tucked the feathers under the strip of ribbon using Mini Glue Dots and added a ribbon bow on top.
Such a pretty card and I love the unusual colour combo. I hope it brings a smile to Jill’s face.

For my June classes I have focused on the gorgeous new Varied Vases stamp set and the co-ordinating Vases Builder Punch and we made 3 super cute cards. I also chose to use the fab new 2018 – 2020 In-Colors which look great together and are so bright and summery.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Varied Vases for June Classes
Card 1
We began the first card by stamping the largest solid vase using Blueberry Bushel ink onto a square of Whisper White 2¾” by 2¾”. We then stamped the outline vases using the Momento Tuxedo Black ink. The gorgeous hanging orchid was also stamped in the Momento Tuxedo Black ink. In some classes we stamped the inside of the flowers using the Pineapple Punch ink and others coloured the blossoms in with the Pineapple Punch Marker – love this colour.
We ran the 5⅞” by 2” panel of Pineapple Punch cardstock through the Big Shot using one of the Petal Pairs Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base using Tombow Liquid Adhesive. We then stamped a sentiment just below using Blueberry Bushel ink.
Using the Decorative Trio Punch we rounded the upper left corner of the stamped panel and on a panel of Blueberry Bushel cardstock 3” by 3” and adhered the panels together using the Tombow Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was added to the card front on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Varied Vases for June Classes
Card 2
We began by stamping the scalloped shelf in Lovely Lipstick ink towards the bottom of a Whisper White panel 4½” by 2¾ ”. The sentiment was stamped below this in either Lovely Lipstick or Blueberry Bushel ink.
We stamped the sweet patterned vase in Blueberry Bushel ink and punched it out using the co-ordinating Vases Builder Punch. We also stamped the 3 vases from a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. The stamped vase was then placed face down roughly where the ladies wanted to place it and the flower stem was then stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and like magic, when you turn the vase over the stem is perfectly positioned! We added the white vases either stamped of the stamped vase using Tombow.
We coloured the flowers in with the Lovely Lipstick Marker. Taking the starry flower stamped we inked it up in Lovely Lipstick ink and stamped in the upper left and lower right corners on the front of the Thick Whisper White card base. The stamped layer, Blueberry Bushel Layer (4¾” by 3”) and the Thick Whisper White card base had the upper left hand corners rounded using the Decorative Trio Punch. The stamped layer was adhered to the Blueberry Bushel layer with Tombow Liquid Adhesive and the panel then added to the card front on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
www,crafty-rootes.com – Varied Vases for June Classes
Card 3
Taking a panel of Whisper White cardstock we stamped the scalloped shelf in Blueberry Bushel ink. We then stamped the vases in Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove ink, in some classes we added the outlines in Momento Tuxedo Black ink, and other classes opted not to do this.
We stamped the flowers on the Momento Tuxedo ink making sure only to ink up the top part of the stem and coloured in the flowers with the 2018 – 2020 In-Color Markers. We stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink and stamped it onto a ⅜” strip of Whisper White cardstock and cut it down to fit.
We rounded the upper left corner of all the layers in the same way as the previous cards and adhered the layers with Tombow and added the panel to the Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The ladies loved these cards; they are so bright and cheerful. Hope you like them.
