I am addicted to the Oceanfront and On the Horizon stamp sets and used them to make projects for this month’s classes.
Colours used in these projects are:
Field with a Fence card
Balmy Blue card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White, Garden Green & Granny Apple Green
We punched a circle from a Post It Note and placed it near the top of the smaller panel of Basic White card. The sky was then stamped in Balmy Blue ink. The mask was removed and So Saffron ink added with a Dauber.
The grass was stamped in Granny Apple Green and the ground in Sahara Sand. We used the dotty image to add texture to the ground.
Using the Horizon Dies we cut out trees from scrap Garden Green. The grasses were cut from scrap Granny Apple Green card and the fence from scrap Basic White.
We added texture to the die cut grass using the grass image from the On The Horizon stamp set and Garden Green ink. The white die cut fence was stamped with the wood plank image.
The die cuts were then added to the stamped panel. The whole layer was added to the Garden Green panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and then to the Balmy Blue card base on Dimensionals.
Rural Scene
Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen – 5⅛” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Evening Evergreen – 4⅛” by ⅛” x 3
Basic White ¼” strip
The Evening Evergreen strips were glued to the Granny Apple Green card base, using the grid paper to get them as straight as possible.
We stamped the back ground using the same images from the Oceanfront stamp set in the same way as the previous card but in 2nd generation ink.
The trees from the On the Horizon stamp set were stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. The same ink was used to add the grasses to the image.
The stamped panel was then mounted on the Evening Evergreen layer with liquid glue and then to the Granny Apple Green card front.
Oceanfront
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pool Party – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – ½” strip
Crumb Cake – 2” by ½”
We began by stamping the sky in Balmy Blue ink using the same Post It mask. The ‘sea’ was added with Pool Party ink and the ground using Sahara Sand ink.
The reeds were stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and the grasses stamped in Soft Suede ink.
The stamped panel was glued to the Pool Party layer and added to the Crumb Cake card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake card and added to the card front.
The ladies at my classes really enjoyed putting these cards together. I hope you like them
