Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using something that is about to retire from the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue which retires at the end of this month. I have chosen to share a project using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, one of my favourites and I am so sad to see it go. I have also used 3 of the colours which are also retiring, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.
To recreate the seashells one sheet wonder cards, you will need:
Basic White card – 11¾” by 4⅛” Co-ordinating card bases x 4 – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Co-ordinating layers cut to 5⅝” by 3⅞” or 5½” by 3¾” or 5⅜” by 3⅝”
www.crafty-rootes.com – The retiring Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set used to make a one sheet wonder for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
I began by stamping the largest image in So Saffron ink and added the second largest in Blushing Bride ink.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The retiring Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set used to make a one sheet wonder for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Shells stamped in Balmy Blue ink and Petal Pink ink. The little starfishes were added in Fresh Freesia ink.

I added the sea weed in Pear Pizzazz ink and then filled in the blank spaces using the spotty stamp and Pool Party ink.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The retiring Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set used to make a one sheet wonder for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
The completed sheet was then cut into 4 panels, each measuring 5⅞” by 4⅛”. I looked at each panel in turn, deciding whether they would be made into portrait or landscape cards.

I stamped a sentiment on each panel in Basic Gray ink before cutting each panel down to either 5½” by 3¾” or 5¼” by 3½”. These were then glued to the co-ordinating panels using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing masking techniques. I have chosen to make a simple card using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.
Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Blackberry Bliss card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner Blackberry Bliss card – ¼” strip
Using Gray Granite ink, I stamped the small shell onto the smaller white panel. I covered it using a mask. I made this by stamping the same shell onto a Post It Note with as much of it on the sticky part as possible and trimmed it out using Scissors.

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where it is all about the males today. I have chosen to use the Welcoming Woods stamp set to make my card. Whether you have hopped over from Cheryl’s blog, loved her project or have started with me, please continue to hop to see what inspiration others have to share today.
To recreate the welcoming woods card, you will need:
Soft Suede card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Balmy Blue card – 4¾” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 4½” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside Basic White card – ¼” strip
I stamped the tree trunks from the Welcoming Woods stamp set in Soft Suede ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White. I love all the texture and definition you get in this image; the trunks look so real.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Welcoming Woods stamp set used for a masculine themed card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop
The ‘ground’ was stamped in 2nd generation Soft Suede ink to give the effect of an horizon.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Welcoming Woods stamp set used for a masculine themed card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop
I punched a circle using the 1” Circle Punch, placed it over the tree trunks to provide a ‘moon’. Using a Blending Brush I added Balmy Blue ink, lightly from the horizon line to the top of the card. I kept the colour light as I wanted a wintery sky effect. The masked circle was then removed.
The ground was coloured with a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink and I added the speckles from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in 2nd and 3rd generation Soft Suede ink to give the ground some texture. The stamped panel was added to the Balmy Blue layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using Soft Suede ink, I stamped the leaves from the Welcoming Woods stamp set onto the Soft Suede card front and added the stamped panel on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Training Blog Hop. Today I am sharing one of the seashell cards I made for team members who had reached sales or recruiting targets in May.
Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Calypso Coral card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I ran the smaller panel of Basic White through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies. I used the largest square. I moved the die down the card, overlapping the original and ran it through again. I knew I would be covering the centre area. I added this panel to the Calypso Coral layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Using the same glue, I added the panel to the Pale Papaya card base.

On scraps of Basic White card, I stamped the seashells and cut them out using the Seaside Shells Dies.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty seashell themed congratulations card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Training Blog Hop
The die cuts were then placed in the coordinating spots in the Seashell 3D Embossing Folder and ran them through the Cut & Emboss Machine.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty seashell themed congratulations card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Training Blog Hop
I arranged the shells across the middle of the panel, hiding the overlapping embossed area. I used a mixture of liquid glue and Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty seashell themed congratulations card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Training Blog Hop
The sentiment came from my stash and had been stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic White card and die cut using the Messages Die. It was added to the card front with a Mini Dimensional and one end and liquid glue at the other.

Using a Mini Glue Dot I added a double White Baker’s Twine bow from the Essentials combo pack. I also added and a trio of Artistry Blooms Sequins to finish the card.
So pretty, I hope my team members like the card.

I have been playing with the gorgeous Sand & Sea Suite today and Oh My Goodness it is stunning: I especially love the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder which gives the most amazing texture.
Misty Moonlight – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Very Vanilla – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner So Saffron – 5½” by 3¾”– rounded upper left corner So Saffron – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner – inside Very Vanilla – 5½” by 3¾”– rounded upper left corner Scrap Very Vanilla & Balmy Blue
I used a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and a pea-sized blob of Frost White Shimmer Paint to spray the smaller So Saffron panel. I left it to one side to dry, so sparkly……

When the panel was dry, I ran it through my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A pretty gold flecked seashell card using the Seaside Seashells embossing folder by Stampin’ Up!
I gently rubbed my Versamark ink pad over the top of embossed panel, covered the panel with Heat & Stick Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I covered the layer with Gold Gilding Flakes, rubbed off the excess and used one of the Blending Brushes to burnish. I wrapped some Lace Trim around it the panel and used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the embossed panel to the larger Very Vanilla panel. The whole piece was added to the Misty Moonlight card base using Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto scrap Very Vanilla card and die cut it out using one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A pretty gold flecked seashell card using the Seaside Seashells embossing folder by Stampin’ Up!
I stamped both types of fronds using Night of Navy or Balmy Blue ink and the starfish in Night of Navy ink, all on scrap Very Vanilla card. I stamped the small clam in Balmy Blue ink on scrap Balmy Blue card. I used my Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to draw some lines on the clam shell, let it dry until tacky then rubbed on some Gold Gilding Flakes.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A pretty gold flecked seashell card using the Seaside Seashells embossing folder by Stampin’ Up!
I added the shells and fronds with Dimensionals to the card front. To finish the card, I added a trio of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
