Snowy Wonder card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have made a card using the Snowy Wonder stamp set and the gorgeous new Forever Plaid Embossing Folder.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the snowy wonder card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pool Party card – 5½” by 3¾”
Shaded Spruce card – 2¾” by 2¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾” – rounded upper left and lower right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I began by cutting a length of white Diagonal Striped Ribbon and colouring it with my dark Cherry Cobbler Blends Pen and set it aside to dry.

I used a ¾” circle punch to create a mask from a Post It Note. The mask was adhered to the upper half of the 2¾” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card and using a Blending Brush I added Pool Party ink to the top ¾ of panel and the mask was removed.

The trees were stamped on the inked panel in Shaded Spruce ink and the dotty image was then stamped all over the top of the stamped piece in Pool Party ink. The stamped panel was then adhered to the Shaded Spruce layer and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Peaceful Season stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Cherry Cobbler ink. I die cut the sentiment using the Greetings of the Season Dies. I ran it twice through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to make the label smaller and to remove the hole at one end. The sentiment was the added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Iridescent Pearls completed the card.
