Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we have a sketch and colour challenge. I have used the Forever Fern stamp set to create my card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the Forever Fern card, you will need:
Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2
Evening Evergreen card – 2 ½” by 2 ½”
Basic White card – 2” by 2”
I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto the small square of Basic White card. I die cut it out using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. Using the same set of dies I die cut the next size hexagon from the square of Evening Evergreen card.
I lightly drew around the larger die cut sentiment after placing it onto one of the Basic White panels. This gave me an idea where to stamp the leafy images.
The first spray of leaves was stamped in Soft Sea Foam ink, the second in Pear Pizzazz ink. The next leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green, then Garden Green was used and finally the smallest leafy spray in Soft Succulent ink.
A length of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon was wrapped around the stamped panel. It was secured on the back with Sellotape. I then used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the stamped panel to the Evening Evergreen layer. The whole piece was added to the Soft Sea Foam card base using the same liquid glue.
The sentiment was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
A ribbon bow was added with a Mini Glue Dot and a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Gems completed the card.
Please continue around the hop to see what my crafty friends have to share with us today. Next is the lovely Susan Webster
