Partially Die Cut Blessings of Home for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing die-cutting. I have chosen to share a partially die cut card featuring the Blessings of Home stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the blessings of home card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Abigail Rose dsp – 5⅝” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Gold Glimmer card – 5⅜” by approx. 1⅞”
Gold Glimmer card – 5⅝” by ⅜”
Basic Black strip ¼” wide

I began by gluing the Abigail Rose designer series paper (dsp) to the Thick Basic White card front – I had to add a strip of Gold Glimmer to the right side as I had managed to cut the dsp slightly to short.

I placed the co-ordinating die form the Flowers of Home set of dies was then placed over the stamped image and secured in place with a little washi tape. I then placed the top cutting plate half way across right-hand side of the stamped image and ran it through the Cut and Emboss Machine, die-cutting only the right side. Using Paper snips, I cut from the top and bottom of the panel until I reached the edge of the die-cut area and dropped the excess in the bin.

The Sweet Sorbet bottle was cut down and added with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the Starry Sky bottle added on Dimensionals.

Autumnal Country Home

Today I have been making customer thank you cards using the lovely Country Home stamp set and the Flowers For Everything designer series paper (dsp).

To recreate the Autumnal Country Home card, you will need:

Just Jade card base –- 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Terracotta Tile – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner x 2
Scrap Whisper White card
Flowers For Every Season dsp – 3⅝” by 2⅜””

I began by adhering the gorgeous dsp to one of the Whisper White panels using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of the Terracotta Tile Ribbon from the Ornate Garden ribbon duo pack around the panel and adhered it on the back with Sellotape.

The sweet milk churn was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Whisper White card and trimmed it out with Scissors. I coloured it in using the Smoky Slate Blends Markers.

The group of flowers was stamped above the dsp in Basic Gray ink. I used the following Blends Markers to colour in the flowers – Just Jade, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Petal Pink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty Abounds stamp set in Just Jade ink and added the milk churn on Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added a bow made from the same ribbon and a trio of Elegant Faceted Gems.
