Vintage Ranunculus card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Hello and thank you for joining me for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop where we are share ideas for customer thank you cards. My vintage ranunculus card is made using a rustic colour palette.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the vintage ranunculus thank you card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Merry Merlot card – 5¼” by 3½”
Crumb Cake card – 5” by 3¼”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾”
Vellum card – 3½” by 3½”
Scrap Very Vanilla card

Using Versamark ink, I randomly stamped the scripty image and the spray of flowers image onto the panel of Crumb Cake card. I covered the ink with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. The embossed panel was then added to the Merry Merlot layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the same ink to glue the panel to the Crumb Cake card front.

I mounted the ranunculus flower image onto one of the Stamparatus plates. I inked the image up using the Garden Green and Merry Merlot Stamp ‘n Write Markers. I repeated this a couple of times to get the depth of colour I wanted.

The image was then die cut using the Ranunculus Dies.

The Sweet Sorbet bottle was cut down and added with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the Starry Sky bottle added on Dimensionals.

Missing Ladybug for the Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are CASEing a project from the catalogue. CASeing means either Copy and Share Everything, which basically means making the card as it is shown or Copy and Selectively Edit which means using the project as a jumping off point and adding your own spin to it. I have chosen the sweet, Missing Ladybug card from page 20 of the January – June Mini Catalogue and have made it my own by changing the colour combo.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the missing ladybug card, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Gorgeous Grape card – 5⅝” by ½”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3”
Pool Party card – 3¼” by 1¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using the trio of flowers, I stamped up the front of the smaller Basic White panel with Gorgeous Grape ink.

The strip of Gorgeous Grape card was added to the left-hand side of the stamped panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole piece was then mounted onto the Fresh Freesia card front on Dimensionals.

Using Scissors, I flagged the end of the Pool Party Strip and added it with liquid glue to the card front.

I added a trio of Pastel Pearls and a White Baker’s Twine bow to complete the card.

I hope you like it.

Please hop on to see what my fellow demos have to share with us today.
