Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing a sneak peek of something coming in the new January to June Catalogue. I have chosen to share a card made using the Blessings of Home stamp set.
Colours used to create this project are:
To recreate the Blessings of Home card, you will need:
Flirty Flamingo card front – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
So Saffron card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card
Using Flirty Flamingo ink, I stamped the large floral image all round the Flirty Flamingo card front to give a subtle background texture.
I stamped the same floral image in Basic Gray ink onto the smallest panel of Basic White and used the following Blends Alcohol Markers to colour it in – Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent and Cinnamon Cider.
The panel was then adhered to the S Saffron layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A length of Gold Shimmer Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and adhered on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Flirty Flamingo card front on Dimensionals.
The Many Messages stamp set was mounted on the Stamparatus plate, inked up with Basic Gray ink and stamped onto scrap Basic White card. I find these large background stamps much easier to manage using the Stamparatus.
I then used the Messages Die to die cut the stamped sentiments. I chose one and added it over the ribbon using Mini Glue Dots.
A bow made from the same ribbon was added with a Mini Glue dot and a trio of Wonderful Gems completed the card. I hope you like it.
Please hop on to see what the lovely Cindy Mitchell-Clark has to share with us today.
