Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our them is ‘Anything Goes’. Whoo hoo, this is where we get to share anything that we like and have been working on. I am sharing a Floating & Fluttering in Pink card which was originally designed nearly a year ago for an in-person class and never used.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the floating & fluttering in pink card, you will need:
Blushing Bride card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Highland Heather – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2 – one for the inside
Scrap Basic Black
I stamped the butterfly image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto one of the Basic White panels. The centre of the stamped image was then die cut using the sweet label from the Painted Labels dies and the Cut & Emboss Machine.
The dotted line was then stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the stamped panel. The panel was then glued to the Highland Heather layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The same liquid glue was then added to the Blushing Bride card front.
Taking the die cut piece, I coloured in the butterflies and leaves using the in-fill stamps and Blushing Bride ink, Highland Heather ink, So saffron ink and Pear Pizzazz ink.
I added a strip of Tear & Tape inside the negative space and added a loop of Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon. The coloured panel was then added over top on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto a scrap of Basic Black card, covered it in White Embossing Powder and Heat Set using my Heat Tool. It was added to the card front with liquid glue and a Dimensional.
To complete the card I added a trio of Pastel Pearls. Such a pretty card, love it.
