Here is a sweet Easter card made using the images of crocus’ from the Easter Promise stamp set.
To recreate the Easter Promise card you will need:
Old Olive – 5½” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Whisper White 5” by ½”
I began by stamping the sentiment from the Welcome Easter stamp set in Soft Suede ink onto the smallest panel of Whisper White card stock.
The group of crocuses was the stamped twice across the same panel using the same ink. I used the following Blends markers to colour in the flowers – Daffodil Delight combo, Purple Posy combo. Highland Heather combo and Old Olive combo.
The stamped panel was glued to the Old Olive layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the twine from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo was wrapped around both panels and secured to the back with Sellotape.
I added a bow in the same twine using a Mini Glue Dot.
The pretty decorative border from the Arts & Crafts dies was cut from the Whisper White strip and added to the bottom of the stamped layer. The whole panel was then added to the Purple Posy card base on Dimensionals.
The card was completed by the addition of a trio of Iridescent Sequins.
Such a sweet card, I hope you like it.
