Here is another card in my campaign to use more Designer Series Paper (dsp). This time I have used the Painted Seasons dsp which is stunning.
Making the Painted Seasons Card
You will need;
Call Me Clover card base
Whisper White 5⅝” by 3 ¾”
Dsp 5⅜” by 3 ½”
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside
Call Me Clover 3” by 3”
Dsp 3” by 3”
Whisper White strip ⅜” wide
I began by choosing the patterned papers I wanted to use and ended up selecting the back and front of the same piece. I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the pieces I needed. I added the larger piece of dsp to the larger Whisper White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and glued the panel to the front of a Call Me Clover card base.
Using the layering Circles Dies and my Big Shot I die cut a circle from the dsp and a slightly larger scalloped circle from the piece of Calypso Coral cardstock and adhered the two together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I cut down the side of the circle with my Trimmer and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Just Because stamp set was stamped on the ⅜” strip of Whisper White in Call Me Clover ink. I then trimmed the strip down to size using Scissors and flagged the end using the Banner Triple Punch, The sentiment was added to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
To complete the card I added a trio of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, I used some of the leftover strips of dsp to decorate the inside panel and the envelope.
I really like this card, I hope you also like it.
