Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop where we are sharing thank you cards made for our customers. I have used the gorgeous Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.
To recreate the Rings of Love thank you card, you will need:
Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Very Vanilla card – 5⅜ by 3⅝” Distressed Gold card – 3½” by 3½” Rings of Love designer Series Paper (dsp)
Like many others I used to hate fussy cutting with a passion. I have however, discovered that the more you do it the easier it becomes and I spent a happy evening fussy cutting leaves and acorns from the sheets of the Rings of Love dsp.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Rings of Love designer Series Paper (dsp) used to make pretty cards for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop
I nested two of the Stylish Shapes Dies together and used them to die cut a circle frame from the Distressed Gold card.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Rings of Love designer Series Paper (dsp) used to make pretty cards for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop
The sentiment from the Cup of Tea Stamp set, was stamped onto the panel of Very Vanilla in Soft Suede ink and the distressed gold frame added on Mini Dimensionals. The overhanging edge was trimmed off.

A trio of Brushed Brass Butterflies completed the card.

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I am currently putting together a class featuring the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and, in addition to the 3 cards we will make in class I try to have other examples made using the set to demonstrate versatility. Today I am sharing one of my extra cards which I have called striped wisteria.
To recreate the striped wisteria card, you will need:
Orchid Oasis card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner Sun Prints dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5” by 3½” Garden Green card – 1½” by ¾” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner Scrap Basic White strip
I began by die cutting a scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contour Dies.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty note of thanks card made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and the Sun Prints designer Series Paper
The leafy branch was stamped in Garden Green ink towards the top of the scalloped rectangle and I added the trio of wisteria flowers using Orchid Oasis ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty note of thanks card made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and the Sun Prints designer Series Paper
Okay, time for a confession, this was going to be a portrait card but………… I cut the striped dsp going in the wrong direction! Don’t you just hate it when you do something like that, so rather than just waste the dsp I turned the card around and transformed it into a landscape card. The dsp panel was glued to the larger Basic White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the Orchid Oasis card front using the same glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty note of thanks card made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and the Sun Prints designer Series Paper
Using my Paper Trimmer, I trimmed off the top and bottom of my decorated scalloped rectangle and added it to the card front on Dimensionals. I actually quite liked how it looked.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty note of thanks card made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and the Sun Prints designer Series Paper
The sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the strip of scrap Basic White card and then die cut using the Sending Dies. I tucked the strip of Garden Green card under the stamped panel and added the sentiment over the top.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty note of thanks card made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and the Sun Prints designer Series Paper
Using a Mossy Meadow Blends Pen I coloured in a trio of Basic Rhinestones and added them to complete the card.
I hop you like it.
Please continue around the hop to share lots of inspiration.
