The Peaceful Deer Stamp set and Deer Builder Punch used to make a pretty Poppy & Mint Christmas card

Poppy & Mint Deer Christmas card

Here is a pretty poppy & mint deer themed Christmas card inspired by a card seen on Pinterest made by fellow demonstrator Kay Cogbill.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Poppy & Mint Deer, you will need:

Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” for the inside
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White

Using Mint Macaron ink, I stamped the trio of trees randomly across the front of the Mint Macaron card base. I filled in the spaces using the same ink and the double tree image.

Using a scalloped circle from the layering Circle Dies and my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine I die cut a scalloped circle from the middle of the Basic Black layer. I love doing this, it makes the most of my card stock and no-one (but you) will ever know!

I die cut a slightly smaller circle from the square of Basic White card using the same set of dies and ran it through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Wintry 3D Duo Embossing Folder. Gives a subtle level of texture to the piece. The embossed circle was added to the scalloped Basic Black circle and then placed on the card front on Dimensionals.
