Here is a pretty poppy & mint deer themed Christmas card inspired by a card seen on Pinterest made by fellow demonstrator Kay Cogbill.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the Poppy & Mint Deer, you will need:
Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” for the inside
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White
Using Mint Macaron ink, I stamped the trio of trees randomly across the front of the Mint Macaron card base. I filled in the spaces using the same ink and the double tree image.
I stamped the deer image using Poppy Parade ink onto scrap Basic White card and punched it out using the Deer Builder Punch.
Using the same punch and scrap Basic White card I punched out 2 antlers and added then to the back of the deer’s head with a Dimensional. The deer was mounted onto the card front with Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto the Basic White strip and flagged with scissors. It was added to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The card was decorated using Subtle Shimmer Sequins.
I really like the simplicity of this card, so pretty.
