Forever Forest cards – Christmas Stampathon

Today I am sharing the cards made for the January Christmas Stampathon where on theme is ‘On Repeat’. I have used the Forever Forest stamp set to make my cards.

Colours used in these cards are:

 

To recreate the forever forest cards you will need:

4 card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – I used Lost lagoon and Pretty Peacock
4 matting layers – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 4 – I used Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock
Basic White panels – 5¼” by 3½” x 4
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 4 – for the inside
Scrap Basic White and Gold Foil

 

I stamped the row of trees from the Forever Forest stamp set across the 4 Basic White panels measuring 5¼” by 3½”. I stamped 2 in portrait and 2 in landscape using Pretty Peacock ink.

I glued the stamped panels to the matting layers. A piece of Gold Open Weave Ribbon was wrapped around each panel and secured the ribbon on the back with Sellotape and glued the panel to the card bases.

The outline punch shape was stamped in lost Lagoon ink onto scrap Basic White card. I punched each label out with the Hexagon Punch.

I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto each label. I punched 4 labels from Gold Foil, cut them across from side to side and glued each piece to the back of the stamped labels with a little showing at the top and bottom. The labels were added to the card fronts on Dimensionals.

A ribbon bow and a trio of Metallic Adhesive-backed gems finish the cards.

Scandinavian Card – Christmas Around the World Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Christmas Around The World Blog Hop. I have chosen to make a card using a version of pattern very popular at Christmas time in Scandinavia.

 

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the Scandinavian card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Night of Navy card – 5¼” by 3½”
Real Red card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Night of Navy card

 

I began by stamping the triple row of dashes, from the Decorative Trees stamp set roughly across the middle of the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink.

Next, I stamped the tree from the Reindeer Fun stamp set in Night of Navy ink above the row of dashes. The small snowflakes from the Snowy Wonder stamp set were added in Pool Party ink.

Finally, across the top of the panel I stamped the trio of baubles with Real Red ink. These came from the Decorative Trees stamp set. The images were stamped again in the reverse order using the same colours below the line of dashes.

The panel was adhered to the Real Red layer, then to the Night of Navy panel before the whole piece was mounted onto the Crumb Cake card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Humble Home stamp set was stamped in Versamark onto a scrap of Night of Navy card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I fussy cut it out and added it to the card front.

Winter Meadow Tree card

The winter meadow tree Christmas card I am sharing today is made using the Decorative Trees stamp set and dies and scraps of the Winter Meadow designer series paper.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the winter meadow tree card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lost Lagoon card – 5⅞” by 1½”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Winter Meadow dsp – 3” by ¾”
Winter Meadow dsp – 2½” by ½”
Scrap Basic White card

 

I stamped the group of stars along the top, bottom and down the left side of the Lost Lagoon piece of card. The stamped panel was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

Using a Blending Brush, I added Lost Lagoon ink to the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card.

The left-hand edge of both pieces of Winter Meadow dsp and the pieces glued to the   panel of Basic White card. The excess was trimmed off before the panel was glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

The outline image of the Christmas Tree was stamped in Blueberry Bushel onto scrap Basic White card. The more detailed image was added inside the outline using the same ink. The whole tree was then die cut using the Decorative Tree Dies. The tree was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Decorative Trees card

I have made a pretty Christmas card using the Decorative Trees stamp set and some of the 2024 – 2026 In Color Glimmer Paper.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the decorative tree card, you will need:

Shy Shamrock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Early Espresso card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
2024-206 In Color Glimmer – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” -Rounded upper right corner – for the inside

 

I stamped the sentiment in the upper left corner of the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card using Shy Shamrock ink. A Blending Brush was used to add Fresh Freesia ink to the right-hand side of the same panel.

The panel was then embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. The whole piece was then glued to the Early Espresso panel and then glued to the Shy Shamrock card front.

A strip of Tear ‘n Tape was added to the ink blended area, and I used it to secure a zigzag of Silver Ribbon in place.

Using the Decorative Trees Dies I die cut a solid tree from the piece of Glimmer Paper and a delicate tree from the 3½” by 2½” panel of Basic White card. I had applied a piece of Masking Paper to the back of the Basic White card prior to die cutting. The backing paper was removed, and the two trees were adhered together and added over the ribbon on Dimensionals.
