Today I am sharing the cards made for my May classes using the Hello Ladybug stamp set and co-ordinating Ladybug Builder Punch.
Colours used in these projects are:
Peek-A-Boo Ladybird card
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White dsp – 8” by 5⅝” – scored at 3⅞” & 5⅞”
Basic White – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
2¼” Basic Black circle
2” Basic White circle
Scrap Basic White & Basic Black
Using Fresh Freesia ink, we stamped the trio of small flowers from the upper left to lower right corner of the 5⅝” by 3⅞” panel of Basic White card. The tiny trio of dots were then added in Sweet Sorbet ink. The piece was then glued to the Fresh Freesia card front.
Using the 2¼” Circle Punch, pushed in as far as it would go from the top of the card front, we punched a circle.
The scorelines on the larger piece of Basic White card were folded and burnished and the largest panel was adhered to the inside of the Fresh Freesia card base.
The ladybird wings were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto scrap Basic White card and the black spots added in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. They were punched out using the Ladybug Builder, shaped using a Bone Folder and added, with a Mini Glue Dot to the ladybird body which had been punched from scrap Basic Black card.
The ladybird was added to the white circle with glue and the white circle added to the black circle with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
We closed the card, added adhesive to the right side of the black circle and added it into the punch hole, gluing it to the folded Basic White layer. A trio of Matte Black Dots completed the card

Scrap Basic White & Basic Black
We stamped all over the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic white card using the daisy image and Daffodil Delight ink. The flower centres were then added with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The whole panel was then embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
The embossed piece was then glued to the Basic Black layer and a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon wrapped around and adhered on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Sweet Sorbet card base.
The ladybird wings were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto scrap Basic White.
A Black & White Gingham Ribbon completed the card.
Ladybird on a leafy background
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Parakeet Party – 5” by 3¼”
Vellum – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White & Basic Black
We randomly stamped the large leaf all over the Parakeet Party panel in Parakeet Party ink and adhered it to the Basic Black panel. This was then added with liquid glue to the Thick Basic Whit card base.
The ladybird was then added to the piece of Vellum using Dimensionals. I added some glue to the piece of vellum behind the ladybird where it would be hidden. The Vellum was then added to the card front.
The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the ¼” strip of Basic White card, trimmed down with Scissors and added to the card front.
A trio of Matte Black Dots completed the card and I tucked a Mini Glue Dot under each dot to help secure the Vellum piece.
I hope you like the cards
