Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are creating projects inspired by a picture and colour challenge. I have used the gorgeous Dainty Delight stamp set to make my card.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the dainty floral card, you will need:
Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝
Up in the Air dsp – 5 ¼” by 3 ½”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic Black card – 1¾” by ⅝”
Basic Black card – 5” by ¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
I glued the Lighter Than Air dsp to the Basic Black layer which was then glued to the Lemon Lolly card front.
Using Versamark ink, I stamped the largest floral image onto the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card, covered it with Black Embossing Powder and heat set it.
The image was coloured using the following Blends Pens – Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly, Parakeet Party & Orchid Oasis. The panel was then cut down using the Perennial Postage Dies. I used a Basic Black Marker at this point to add a little spritzing to the panel.
The thin strip of Basic Black was glued to the left -hand side of the die cut panel and the whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the 1¾” by ⅝”, covered in Basic White Embossing Powder and hear set. I added it to the card front with liquid glue on one end and a Dimensional on the other.
A double Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine bow and a trio of Tinsel Gems finished the card.
Please hop along to share the gorgeousness provided by my crafty friends.
