Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are showcasing Sale-a-Bration options. I have chosen to use the quirky Jungle Pals stamp set and co-ordinating Jungle Pals Dies.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the jungle pals card, you will need:
Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Balmy Blue card – 5⅛” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White & Garden Green
Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card then glued it to the Balmy Blue panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Garden Green card base.
The sentiment, from the Stippled Roses stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner of the inked panel in Garden Green ink.
On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the adorable crocodile using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used Granny Apple Green light & dark Blends to colour in the croc. I die cut him – definitely a him – using the Jungle Pals Dies.
The jungle foliage was die cut from scrap Garden Green card. I wove the crocodile through the foliage and adhered the two together with Dimensionals and added them to the card front.
Cute card, I hope you like it.
