Christmas Wreaths card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a picture and colour challenge. I used the Cottage Wreaths stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in my card:

To recreate the Christmas Wreaths card, you will need:

Cherry Cobbler card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Wild Wheat card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Pretty Peacock card – 2⅝” by ½”
Scrap Sweet Sorbet card

Using the twiggy wreath stamp from the Cottage Wreath stamp set, I stamped on the smaller panel of Basic White card in Pecan Pie ink. I rotated the image and stamped again with Wild Wheat ink. This gave a fuller wreath with more texture.

The holly leaves were added randomly around the wreath using Pretty Peacock ink.

Holly berries were added with Cherry Cobbler ink. At this point I ran the whole panel through the Cut & Emboss Machine with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

The Wild Wheat panel was glued, offset, to the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added the embossed panel over top on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto the piece of Pretty Peacock card in Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using a Heat Tool. This was then added to the card front with liquid glue.

Country Wreath for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we are sharing Christmas in July themed cards. I have chosen to use the pretty Cottage Wreaths stamp set and co-ordinating Country Wreaths Dies.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the cottage wreaths card, you will need:

Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Sweetest Christmas dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Real Red

I glued the piece of Sweetest Christmas dsp to the larger panel of Basic White card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I then wrapped a length of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the panel, securing them on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was added to the Soft Succulent card base using the same glue.
