Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is thanks and I have made a scale full of thanks card using the Measure of Love stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the scale full of thanks card, you will need:
Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded right upper corner
Basic Black card – 5” by 2”
Pansy Patch dsp – 4⅞” by 1⅞”
Pansy Patch dsp – 4⅜” by 2¼” – rounded right upper corner
Basic White card – 4 ½” by 2 ¼” V
Pansy Patch dsp – 2 ¼” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded right upper corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White
I glued the gingham dsp to the Basic Black panel and added it to the Pale Papaya card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The scales were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the smaller piece of Basic White card. I added the dial in the same ink and the fruit in Real Red ink. Using an old, almost empty Clear Wink of Stella Brush and the Real Red ink I coloured in the front of the scales.
The stamped panel was stuck to the 2nd piece of the Pansy Patch dsp and a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon was wrapped around the panel. The whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
I thought the card base looked a little bare so very carefully stamped the group of flowers around the panel.
The sentiment from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto scrap Basic White card before being die cut using the sweet little tag from the Hydrangea Dies. I added it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot and added a bow at the top.
The card was finished with a strip if dsp to ground the scales and a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels.
Such a sweet card. I hope you like it.
