Delicate Forest clean and simple card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing clean and simple projects. I have made my sending love card using the Delicate Forest stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the delicate forest clean and simple card, you will need:

Coastal Cabana card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I pressed an H block to my juicy Coastal Cabana ink pad making sure the block was well covered. The block was then placed onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. I left it in place for about ½ minute to allow the ink to soak in.

Pretty feminine birthday cards made using the Paper Blooms dsp a Sale-A-Bration choice from Stampin' Up!

Paper Blooms card in the mail class

Today I am sharing the cards I designed for my first Class in the Mail. I used the lovely Paper Blooms designer Series Paper to make the cards. This is one of the free choices from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with a £45 order.

Each person taking the class received all the card stock needed to make the cards, a 6” by 6” pack of the Paper Blooms dsp, a strip of Rhinestones, 3 envelopes and the die cut circles and label for the sentiments. As per Stampin’ Up! Policy no stamped images or sentiments were included and the ladies taking the class used what they had to hand. I had die cut a selection of flowers and leaves from the dsp for the ladies to use on their cards.

To recreate the double flower card, you will need:

Night of Navy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛
Rococo Rose – 5½” by 3¾”
Paper Blooms dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Night of Navy – ¼” strip
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside

Pretty feminine birthday cards made using the Paper Blooms dsp a Sale-A-Bration choice from Stampin' Up!

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Paper Blooms card in the mail class using Stampin’ Up! products.

Adhere the dsp to the Rococo Rose layer, then glued the panel to the Night of Navy card base.

Flag the ends of the strip of Night of Navy card and glue it to the card front. Stamp your chosen sentiment onto the die cut Whisper White label and use dimensionals to add to the card front.

Choose the flowers and leaves from the die cut selection and add with either glue or dimensionals. Embellish with Rhinestones.

To recreate the single flower card, you will need:

Rococo Rose card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 3⅛” – embossed using the Painted Textures embossing folder
Paper Blooms dsp – 5⅞” by 2½”
Night of Navy – ¼” strip
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside

Pretty feminine birthday cards made using the Paper Blooms dsp a Sale-A-Bration choice from Stampin' Up!

Select a piece of dsp and adhere it to the Rococo Rose card base, add the strip of Night of Navy strip. Add the embossed panel of Basic White card.

Fussy cut the flower from the dsp and add it to the card front using glue and/or Dimensionals.

Stamp and add your chosen sentiment – spare white card stock in the pack. Decorate with Rhinestones.

To recreate the Group of Flowers card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 5⅜” by 3⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Paper Blooms dsp – 4⅛” by 2¼”

Glue the dsp strip to the Thick Basic White card base.

Stamp the chosen sentiment onto the die cut circle then add the circle to the Rococo Rose scalloped circle.

Select the die cut flowers and leaves and add to the circle with glue. Decorate with Rinestones.

A sympathy card made using ink blending and the Rotted In Nature stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Sympathy card

Today I am sharing a simple sympathy card made for a dear friend of mine who’s husband recently died.

To recreate this sympathy card you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base ¬- 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Balmy Blue – 5¼” by 3½”
Whisper White – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”

Using the Layering circle dies I die cut a circle in a piece of copy paper to act as a mask. I punched a circle using a ¾” Circle Punch and plced it in the negative space of the die cut circle. Using a piece of sponge I added Balmy Blue ink inside the circle. The mask was then removed.

A simple pretty Christmas card featuring the Playful Penguins stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Playful Penguins

Today I am sharing a sweet Christmas card made using the gorgeous Playful Penguins stamp set.

To recreate the Playful Penguin card you will need:

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Blueberry Bushel – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Feels Like Frost dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Blueberry Bushel – 3½” by 3½”
Whisper White – 3½” by 3½”
Scrap Whisper White

I wrapped a piece of ⅛” Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon around the designer series paper (dsp) adhering it on the back with Sellotape before adhering it to the Blueberry Bushel layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then added to the Thick Whisper White card base using the same adhesive.

I stamped a penguin using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Whisper White square and die cut it using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I die cut a scalloped circle using the square of Blueberry Bushel and the Layering Circle dies and glued the 2 pieces together.

The second penguin was stamped in the same Memento ink onto scrap Whisper White and fussy cut using my sharp scissors. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

I added a ribbon bow with a Mini Glue Dot and a trio of Noble Peacock Rhinestones. I decorated the inside by stamping a penguin and used the same image to decorate the envelope

Such a simple but pretty card. I hope you like it.
