Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we are sharing Christmas in July themed cards. I have chosen to use the pretty Cottage Wreaths stamp set and co-ordinating Country Wreaths Dies.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the cottage wreaths card, you will need:
Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Sweetest Christmas dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Real Red
I glued the piece of Sweetest Christmas dsp to the larger panel of Basic White card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I then wrapped a length of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the panel, securing them on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was added to the Soft Succulent card base using the same glue.
A scalloped rectangle was run through the Cut & Emboss Machine with one of the Scalloped Contour Dies.
I inked the leafy wreath with Soft Succulent ink and stamped it onto the scalloped rectangle, turned the stamp 90° and stamped again without re-inking.
The wreath of twigs was stamped overtop with Soft Succulent ink.
The sentiment from the Ringed with Nature stamp set was stamped in Soft Succulent ink and the bottom of the scalloped rectangle. The rectangle was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
I die cut a pretty bow from scrap Real Red card using the Country Wreaths Dies. It was added to the base of the wreath with liquid glue. Red Rhinestones were then scattered around the wreath to complete the card.
Please hop along to see what other inspiration my fellow stampers have to share today.
