The Ice Cream Swirl stamp set from Stampin' Up! used to make a banana ice cream themed card

Banana Ice Cream card

Today, I am sharing a card inspired by a childhood memory of banana ice cream made by my granny. It was such a special treat and so yummy. I have made my card using the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set and dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the banana ice cream card, you will need:

Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Bright & Beautiful dsp – 5¾” by 4”
Pecan Pie card – 7½” by ¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

The panel of Bright & Beautiful designer series paper (dsp) was cut in two diagonally giving two triangles. One of these triangles was then adhered to the upper right corner of the Lemon Lolly card front.

I glued the stamped panel to the Smoky Slate panel.

I ran the smallest panel of Whisper White cardstock through the Big Shot inside the Lace Embossing Folder and adhered the embossed panel to the bottom of the Smoky Slate panel. A strip of Lovely Lipstick was added to between the panels.

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the unicorns mane and flowers  – Lovely lipstick combo, Flirty Flamingo combo, Petal pink combo, Highland Heather combo, Smoky Slate combo.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink onto scrap Whisper White and die cut using the Nested Stitched dies. The label was then cut down and glued to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I used the stars to decorate the inside panel and the envelope and then got carried away adding Glitter Enamel Dots and Basic Pearls.

Such a pretty card, I hope you like it.
