The card I am sharing today happened by complete chance. I had a piece of cardstock lying on my desk, the negative piece left over when I die cut one of the gorgeous Detailed Bands and I thought I would try to make something using it.
To recreate the Detailed Bands and Band Together card you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded lower right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded lower right corner
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 1⅞”
Poppy Parade – 4⅛” by ½” x 2
Using Crumb Cake ink I randomly stamped the large flower onto the Crumb Cake card front.
Using the negative die cut strip as a stencil and a a piece of Sponge I added Petal Pink ink to the smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Leaving the stencil in position I placed the panel into the Stamparatus and positioned the detailed metal die face down on top, I added a second foam piece to raise up the panel. I added some temporary adhesive to the back of the die and closed the hinged panel picking up the die. I inked the die with Poppy Parade ink and stamped it down.
I loved the vintage, shabby chic look. I did stamp the image twice. I removed the panel from the Stamparatus and stamped the sentiment with Poppy Parade in the middle.
The Poppy Parade strips were added to the top and bottom of the inked panel and adhered to the card base using Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower in Poppy Parade ink onto the remaining panel of Whisper White and glued it inside the card. The same image and ink were used to decorate the envelope. A trio of Red Rhinestones were added to the card front to complete the card.
I hope you like it.
