A card made for a sketch challenge using the Bright & Beautiful dsp and Beautiful Balloons stamp set by Stampin' Up! or the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Bright & Beautiful card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch. I have to admit I found this a difficult sketch to work with and had a number of failed attempts before I settled on the card I am sharing today. I have used the Beautiful Balloons stamp set and Bright & Beautiful Dsp to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the bright & beautiful card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2”
Fresh Freesia Card – 5⅞” by ⅝”
Bright & Beautiful dsp 2” by 2” squares x 2

Using a Paper Trimmer, I cut the 2” squares of Bright & Beautiful dsp in half diagonally and used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp triangles to the Thick Basic White card front.

The small balloon was stamped up the length of the Fresh Freesia strip which was then glued to the card front.

I stamped the small balloon all over the 4⅛” by 2” panel of Basic White card in Lemon Lolly ink. The same small balloon was stamped again in Fresh Freesia then Bubble Bath inks.

The sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped over the balloons in Pebbled Path ink. Love this bold sentiment. This panel was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
