Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a picture and/or a colour combo,
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the cup of tea card, you will need:
Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Sweet Sorbet card – 4⅛” by 2⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4” by 2¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card
The large leaf from the Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Gray Granite ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Gray Granite card base.
The striped teacup was stamped in Gray Granite ink onto scrap Basic White card. The small tag was stamped in Soft Suede ink and the sentiment added it Sweet Sorbet ink. I also stamped the larger flower in Blushing Bride and Sweet Sorbet ink. All of these images were die cut using the Teacup Dies.
The larger leafy sprig was stamped on the smaller panel of Basic White card in Soft Sea Foam ink and a Blushing Bride flower added. The clump of leaves and stems were stamped in Garden Green ink and the group of flowers added in Sweet Sorbet. The whole panel was glued to the Sweet Sorbet layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The Teacup was added onto the panel on Dimensionals. The label was glued in place and the die cut flowers added with liquid glue.
To complete the card, I added a scattering of Red Rhinestones and a bow made with In Color Baker’s Twine.
I have loved this stamp set and dies and I am very sad to see it retire. I hope you like the card.
Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
