Welcome to the July Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where the theme is ‘Casing the Annual Catalogue’. If you have hopped over from the lovely Linda or started the blog hop with me – Mo Rootes …..welcome and enjoy the hop.
I have chosen to CASE a card on page 80 of the Annual Catalogue using the Healing Hugs stamp set. I have changed the colours but kept the design pretty much as it is.
To recreate the Healing Hugs card you will need;
Seaside Spray card base 5⅞” by 8¼” scored at 4⅛”
Whisper White cardstock – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2
Seaside Spray 3” by 1¼”
Scrap Whisper White cardstock
Using the gorgeous new Stitched Lace dies I ran one of the Whisper White panels through the Big Shot. I used some Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to adhere the die cut piece to the Seaside Spray card base.
I stamped the flowers in Rococo Rose ink and So Saffron ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and cut them out using my scissors. I also stamped the two different sets of leaves from the stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and hand cut them out.
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and Dimensionals I added the flowers and leaves to the card front.
The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto the small piece of Seaside Spray cardstock and added to the card front on dimensionals.
Such a pretty card and I like it in the softer colours. I hope you like it. Please hop on to see what Anastasia has to share with us.
