Cherry Cobbler card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2 Wrapped in Plaid dsp – 4½” by 3” Whisper White – 3¼” by 2¾” Scrap Whisper White and Shaded Spruce
I glued the Wrapped in Plaid dsp panel to one of the larger Whisper White panel and adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler card base.

I stamped the sweet little juggling snowman image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smallest panel of Whisper White and die cut it out using the Stitched Label dies. The snowman was coloured in using the following Blends – dark Cherry Cobbler, dark Shaded Spruce, dark Pumpkin Pie and dark Basic black.

The stamped panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals and a trio of Metallic Pearls added. I felt the card looked a little bare so added some leaves die cut from scrap Whisper White and Shaded Spruce using the Beautiful Boughs Dies.

The same snowman was stamped on the Whisper White panel for the inside of the card and on the envelope.

Today I am sharing the cards made during November’s classes using the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and the Beautiful Boughs dies.

Tri-fold card
Garden Green card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅞” – scored on the long side at 2 and 1/16th and 4⅛” Whisper White – 5⅝” by 3⅞” for the inside Whisper White- 4¾” by 3¼” Whisper White – 3¼” by 3” Scrap Garden Green, Poppy Parade, Whisper White and Gold Foil for die cutting boughs and pine cones.
www.crafty-rootes.com – November classes featuring the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and Beautiful Boughs dies
Having folded and burnished in the score lines we used the ‘spotty stamp’ and Garden Green ink to randomly cover the 2 and 1/16th inch panel. We stamped the smallest bough in Garden Green ink onto the largest Whisper White panel and adhered it to the inside panel of the card.
We stamped the sentiment using Poppy Parade ink onto the smallest Whisper White panel and die cut it out using the Beautiful Boughs dies.
We inked the medium Whisper White panel using Pool Party ink. The ladies then arranged the die cut boughs and pinecones – I had die cut them ahead of time, adhering them with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The sentiment panel was then added overtop on Dimensionals and the final boughs and pinecones were tucked underneath.
The decorated panel was adhered to the left side of the card using the Liquid Adhesive. A Poppy Parade Ribbon bow was added to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. The envelope was decorated using the small bough.

Using the Pool Party ink and sponges we inked the Whisper White panel keeping the colour lighter nearer the centre. We stamped the large bough all around the inked panel using Garden Green ink.
The Poppy Parade Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green ink and die cut. A piece of Braided Twine was fed through the the holes of the sentiment label. The sentiment was adhered over the Poppy Parade Ribbon on Dimensionals and the ends of the twine adhered to the back of the panel with Sellotape.
The panel was adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the Graden Green layer before being added to the Thick Whisper White card base.
The’spotty image’ was then stamped randomly in Poppy Parade ink.

The large bough was stamped in the upper right and lower left corners of the Whisper White panel in Garden Green ink. The sentiment was stamped between the boughs with Poppy Parade ink and a scatter of Pool Party dots were stamped over the boughs.
The stamped panel was adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the Pool Party layer. The ends of the small strips were flagged and the flags added to the back of the stamped panel.
Using the Poppy Parade ink we stamped the small pinecone in the upper right and lower left corners of the Poppy Parade card base. The stamped layer was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The inner Whisper White panel and Envelope was decorated using the small bough stamp.
I hope you like the cards

Here is a pretty Christmas card made using the Beautiful Boughs dies and Peaceful Boughs stamp set with soft patel colours.
To recreate the Beautiful Boughs card you will need:
Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left and lower right corners. Shaded Spruce – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left and lower right corners. Whisper White – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left and lower right corners x 2. Scrap Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron & Whisper White
I began by die cutting a number of the small single branches from the scrap Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Whisper White cardstock.

I laid them out in a rough circle on one of the Whisper White panel to work out how many I would need – 11 as it happens.

I lifted them up and then glued them all down using a Mini Glue dot on the bottom of each branch. I wanted the branches to have some dimension and movement to add texture to the card.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Mint Macaron ink.
The decorated layer was then added to the Shaded Spruce layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive before being added with the same glue to the Mint Macaron card base. I used a trio of Red Rhinestones to decorate the finished acrd front.

The remaining Whisper White panel was stamped with a pine bough using Mint Macaron ink and adhered inside the card. The envelope was stamped with the same ink and image.
I hope you like the card.
