Trucking Along Thank you Card for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I used the Trucking Along Stamp set to make a pretty thank you card for a friend.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the trucking along thank you card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Real Red card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2” by ⅜”
More Dazzle Paper – 4⅛” by ⅝”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”

Using the Cut & Emboss Machine and one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders I embossed the Real Red panel and adhered it to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White. This was then adhered to the Boho Blue card front using the same liquid glue.

The ‘ground’ image was stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto the square of Basic White card. I added the outline of the truck using the same ink. The pile of presents were stamped into the back of the truck using the same ink.

The infill of the truck was stamped in Boho Blue ink and the detail for the presents in Real Red ink. The stamped panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto the strip of Basic White card. It was trimmed down and slipped under the raised panel.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut out a stitched circle. The ‘ground’ image was stamped in Pebbled Path ink along the bottom of the die cut circle. I added clouds in Boho Blue ink across the top. Using a Blending Brush, I added Boho Blue ink to the top half of the circle and Pebbled Path ink to the bottom of the circle.

The truck was placed onto the stitched circle, when it was in position, I lined up the outline flower image, moved the truck to one side and stamped the image in Pebbled Path ink. The flowers were coloured with Daffodil Delight ink and I coloured the leaves with a Garden Green Marker.

The truck was added onto the circle on Dimensionals and the circle added to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set was stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto a scrap of Basic White card. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front.

I love this stamp set and punch, it is so versatile, fabulous for masculine cards.
