Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are working with a colour challenge. I have used the pretty Artistically Inked stamp set to make my card.
To recreate the artistically inked card, you will need:
Berry Burst card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Granny Apple Green card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I began by running the smaller panel of Basic White card through the big shot with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. The embossed piece was then glued to the Granny Apple Green layer.

A length of Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon was then wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Berry Burst card base. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive in both cases.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Artistically Inked stamp set and Artistic dies used to make a floral card for the Ink. Stamp. Share colour challenge Blog Hop
The flowers were then stamped onto scarp Basic White card. The large flower in Bubble Bath ink with a centre of Berry Burst. The medium flower in Lemon Lolly ink and the trio of small flowers in Berry Burst. The double and single leaves were then stamped in Granny Apple Green ink. All of these images were then die cut using my Cut & Emboss machine.

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using designer series paper (dsp). I love all the pretty dsp we have in the new catalogue and I love ways to use up scrap bits and pieces. I have used the gorgeous Fresh as a Daisy dsp to make my card today.
To recreate the fresh as a daisy card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Crushed Curry card – 4⅛” by 2⅛” Fresh as a Daisy dsp – 4” by 2“
Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut the strip of dsp in half at 2” giving two 2” by 2” squares.

Again, using the trimmer, I cut each square in half on the diagonal.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp pieces to the layer of Crushed Curry card. The pieces were laid flush to each end but leaving a small gap top, bottom and in the middle so that the Crushed Curry showed through.

Thick Basic card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2, one for the inside Vellum – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic Black card – ½” strip

Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Artistic Dies, I die cut the spray of leaves from the panel of Basic Black, taking care not to get close to the edges.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The Blessings of Home stamp set by Stampin’ Up! used for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
I used the following dark Blends Markers – Magenta Madness, Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy and Fresh Freesia to scribble blocks of colour onto the Vellum. I dipped an almost empty Clear Wink of Stella Brush to splatter and dab 90% alcohol onto the Vellum allowing the ink to spread and pool. The panel was then set aside to dry.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The Blessings of Home stamp set by Stampin’ Up! used for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
When the Vellum was dry, I trimmed off ¼” from the side and the bottom to decorate the inside panel and the envelope. The Vellum was then added to one the Basic White panels using tiny dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The panel was then added to the Basic Black panel using the same liquid glue. I used Dimensionals to add the panel to the Magenta Madness card base.

The sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with a Heat Tool. I flagged the end and added the sentiment to the card front with liquid glue.

I love this card; The colours work so well together and I especially love the slight sparkle the Clear Wink of Stella has given to the Vellum. So pretty.

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are using something from our stash in a project today. I have a piece of inked vellum on my craft desk, left over from September’s classes – see the post on the 17th September 2021, and have used it to make a card featuring a trio of butterflies.
To recreate the double butterfly card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Magenta Madness card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside Vellum – big enough to die cut your butterflies
I used Magenta Madness, Dark Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends Alcohol Markers to scribble blocks of colour all over the Vellum taking care not to overlap the colours which would contaminate the lighter colour nibs.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Using a pipette filled with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and smacked it against a Bone Folder to spray small dots of alcohol all over the Vellum. This allows the ink to start spreading, such a cool effect. The Vellum piece was then set aside to dry.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Using second generation Pale Papaya ink I stamped the larger circle image from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set in the centre of the smaller Basic White panel. The dotty image was stamped in full strength Pale Papaya randomly across the stamped circle.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Taking the dry vellum panel and the Brilliant Wings Dies I die cut 3 of the small butterflies. Vellum can be tricky to die cut with a detailed die and I find placing the die, cutting side up gives me the best cut. I used the Take Your Pick Die Brush to get out the fiddly pieces.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
The sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped in Magenta Madness ink. The stamped panel was then glued to the Magenta Madness layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the Thick Basic White card front using the same liquid glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
The butterflies were added to the card front on Mini Glue Dots and the card decorated with a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels.
I hope you like it.
Please hop on to see what other inspiring projects my fellow demos have to share with us today.

To recreate the artistic monochromatic thank you card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Poppy Parade card – 4⅞” by 3⅛” Basic White card – 4¾” by 3” Scrap Basic White card.
Taking the dark Poppy Parade Blends Alcohol Marker, I coloured in a length of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and set it aside to dry. I love that with these markers we can have ribbon in almost any colour. The ribbon was then wrapped around the larger Basic White panel and adhered on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then glue to the Thick Basic White card front.

On the smallest panel of Basic White card, I stamped the long-textured image in Poppy Parade ink, right across the middle.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – An artistically monochromatic thank you card featuring the eclipse technique and using Stampin’ Up! products
Using a T square ruler, I drew a straight pencil line just below centre and using the Playful Alphabet Dies cut out the letters for the word THANKS. I used washi tape to hold the letters in position whilst running them through the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – An artistically monochromatic thank you card featuring the eclipse technique and using Stampin’ Up! products
The panel that the letters were cut from was glued to the Poppy Parade panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Using the same dies I die cut 2 more of each letter from Basic White card, glued each pair together and added the stamped letter on top. This gives each letter some height and definition. The letters were then glued into the negative spaces on the card front using the liquid glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – An artistically monochromatic thank you card featuring the eclipse technique and using Stampin’ Up! products
I added a bow to the side of the word and a trio of Red Rhinestones to complete the card.
