I have used the pretty Stars At Night stamp set and Dies to make a pretty star card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the star card, you will need:
Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Night of Navy card – 4½” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Gold Foil
From the 4½” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card I die cut a scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Rectangle Dies.
I masked off the stitched lines and the scalloped edges of the die cut rectangle using Post-It notes and stamped the starburst image in Pool Party ink in the 4 corners.
The stamped rectangle was glued to the Night of Navy panel. A length of Night of Navy and Gold Glittered Ribbon was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Tear ‘n Tape.
The starburst image was then stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Pool Party card front and the stamped panel added to the front.
I stamped the large star in Night of Navy card and die cut it using the Stars At Night Dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder. I added it over the ribbon on the card front on Dimensionals.
A small star was die cut from Gold Foil and added to the centre of the large star.
Such a pretty card.
