Here are the cards I made for the March 2024 Christmas Stampathon where the theme is ‘stamped background’.
Colours in this project are:
To recreate the snowflakes cards, you will need:
Card Bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” x 4 – I used Bubble Bath, Boho Blue, Gorgeous Grape & Night of Navy
Matting layers – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 4 – I used Bubble Bath & Night of Navy
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” x 4
Night of Navy card – 2¾” by ½” x 4
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 4 – for the inside
Taking the 4 Basic White panels measuring 5¼” by 3½”, I randomly stamped the snowflakes along a long edge and a short edge of each panel.
I began with the largest snowflake, from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in Bubble Bath, the second largest snowflake was stamped in Boho Blue ink.
The smallest snowflake was then added using Gorgeous Grape ink. Finally, I stamped the tiny, trio of snowflakes image in Night of Navy ink. The stamped panels were then glued to the Bubble Bath or Night of Navy matting layers. These were then adhered to the card bases.
The sentiment, from the Ringed With Nature stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strips of Night of Navy card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.
I added a strip of Tear & Tape to the back of each sentiment strip, a length of Silver Ribbon was then woven along the length of the sentiment. The sentiment was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of Festive Pearls finished each card. I hope you like them.
