I made a card today using the pretty Sending Smiles stamp set and the new 2022 – 2024 in colors.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the sending smiles card, you will need:
Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Starr Sky card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper left corner
I began by stamping the larger sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. The smaller sentiment was added underneath in Tahitian Tide ink.
I stamped the foliage using Parakeet Party ink and began adding the flowers in Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Orchid Oasis.
The flower centres were stamped in Starry Sky ink. I was aiming for a wildflower meadow look with these pretty florals.
The stamped panel was the glued to the Starry Sky layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and I mounted the whole piece onto the Tahitian Tide card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of 2022 – 2024 In Color Dots completed the card.
I hope you like it.
