Sending Cheer Waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing waterfall cards. I love making these fun fold cards and have used the Sending Cheer stamp set and the cheerful Bright & Beautiful designer series paper (dsp).

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the sending cheer waterfall card, you will need:

Berry Burst card base – 11¾” by 4⅛” – scored at 5⅞”
Berry Burst – 8⅝” by 2¾” – Scored at 1¾”, 2½”, 3¼” & 4”
Berry Burst – 4⅛” by 1”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Bright & Beautiful dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Lemon Lime Twist – 2⅝” by 2⅝” x 3
Lemon Lime Twist – 2⅝” by 1⅝”
Lemon Lime Twist – 3⅝” by 2⅝”
Basic White – 2½” by 2½” x 3
Basic White – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White – 2½” by 1½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

The Bright & Beautiful dsp panel was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card and then to the Berry Burst card base. Using a strip of Tear ‘n Tape on each end I added the 4⅛” by 1” strip of Berry Burst to the card front, approximately 1⅛” up from the bottom.

The images, gingerbread man, stocking and present, from the Sending Cheer stamp set were stamped onto the 2 ½” by 2 ½” panels of Basic White card, these were adhered to the 2⅝” by 2⅝” panels of Lemon Lime Twist.

I stamped the holly leaves and berries onto the remaining small panels of Basic White card and glued them to the slightly larger Lemon Lime Twist pieces.

I used a retired punch to punch the tag shape on the longest panel of the 8⅝” by 2¾” piece of Berry Burst card. I threaded a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon through the hole and slipped the strip. The largest stamped panel was the added to the tag punched end.

Using a bone folder, I folded and burnished the scorelines and slipped the panel, tag end first under the strip of Berry Burst card on the card front.

Folding the strip on the 4” score line I glued the loose end to the strip of Berry Burst card which straddled the bottom of the card front. The 4 decorated panels were then added to complete the card.
