I have been playing today with the Seaside Bay stamp set and co-ordinating dies along with the By the Bay Designer Series Paper and have come up with a pretty thinking of you card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the Seaside Bird card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
By the Bay dsp – 5⅞” by 2”
By the Bay dsp – 5⅞” by ½”
Balmy Blue card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 2½” by ½”
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the 2 pieces of Bay the Bay dsp to the Thick Basic White card base.
The large sandpiper was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto the square of Basic White card, I added the sandy shore with the seashells in Crumb Cake ink along the bottom. The image was then die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I used the same liquid glue to add the stitched square to the Balmy Blue square and mounted it on the card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto the strip of Basic White card, trimmed it down and tucked it under the raised panel.
A trio of Milky Dots finished the card.
