Row of Houses – Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing the emboss resist technique. I have used the From Our Home stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the row of houses card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 3⅞” by 2⅞”
Pecan Pie card – 3⅝” by 2⅝”
Fluid 100 card – 3½” by 2½”
Pebbled Path card – ¾” by ⅜”

The row of houses were stamped across the bottom of the Basic Beige card base with Basic Beige ink and set aside.

I stamped the row of houses in Versamark ink onto the panel of Fluid 100 card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

Using a Water Painter, I added clean water to soak the panel of Fluid 100 card.

I squeezed the Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path ink pads to get ink into the lid, diluted the ink with water from the water painter and added the diluted ink to the wet, embossed panel allowing the colours to mix and blend. I set it aside to dry bfore wiping the excess ink off the white embossed image.

When dry the water-coloured panel was glued to the Pecan Pie layer and then to the Pebbled Path panel. The panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped on the small piece of Pebbled Path card with Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I then added it to the card front.
