I have been playing with the gorgeous Hues of Happiness dsp today, I can’t get enough of this paper. I have made a pretty rosie thanks card to share.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the rosie thanks card, you will need:
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2, one for the inside
Hues of Happiness dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 2 ½” by 2½”
Basic White ¼” strip
The panel of dsp was added to one of the larger layers of Basic White card using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I used the same glue to adhere the panel to the Fresh Freesia card base.
Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I die cut a stitched rectangle and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
A purple rose was die cut from the pretty dsp along with two leaves. I used my Bone Folder to curve the flower and leaves and added the flower to the stitched square on a Dimensional. The flower was tucked under and held in place with a dab of liquid glue.
The sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped on the strip of Basic White card. I trimmed it down using scissors and added it to the card with glue and Dimensionals.
A trio of Brushed Butterflies completes the card. So pretty.
